The Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge stretches along the Minnesota River for 70 miles from Bloomington (near the airport) to Henderson.

We acquire lands to complete Refuge Units within delineated search areas. We also acquire lands for Waterfowl Production Areas in the southern Minnesota transition zone between northern tallgrass prairie and eastern deciduous forest. Check out our maps and frequently asked questions to learn more.
